Graduate Certificate in Psychology: Projective psychological assessment

The Department of Psychology at University of Antioquia is pleased to offer its Graduate Certificate in Psychology: Projective psychological assessment. The application deadline is July 30, 2012.

Course objective

The program aims at providing students with the skills and ethical guidelines to effectively perform psychological assessment and diagnosis through the use of projective techniques.

Prospective students

The course is designed for psychologists and psychology students with an interest in projective testing methods. 

Curriculum

Topics include:

  • Theoretical foundation
  • Psychological assessment and diagnosis
  • Projective drawing techniques: Human Figure Drawing Test (HFDT) & Kinetic Family Drawing Test (KFD)
  • The Wartegg Drawing Completion Test (WDCT)
  • The Rorschach Inkblot Test
  • The Verbal Motor Production Assessment: Thematic Apperception Test (TAT) & Children’s Apperception Test (CAT)
