Undergraduate admissions

Universidad de Antioquia offers the national and international community more than 90 undergraduate programs. Learn about undergraduate programs offered, available places, procedures, enrollment requirements, and other updated information here.

International students may enroll in the undergraduate programs offered by the university under the following modalities.

• New applicants

All foreign students who had successfully completed the studies equivalent to the Colombian secondary education level (high school) or are in the last year of secondary education may apply as new applicants for undergraduate programs.

• Transfer applicants

Applicants who had completed at least two academic terms in a program of a higher education institution recognized by the Ministry of Education of the home country may apply for a transfer to Universidad de Antioquia.

Please note: Upon enrollment, foreign students must apply for their temporary TP-3 student visas submitting their letters of acceptance. All transfer students accepted into Universidad de Antioquia must successfully complete at least 40% of the program courses to be able to get a diploma.

Graduate admissions

Universidad de Antioquia offers the national and international community more than 120 graduate programs. Learn about graduate programs offered, available places, procedures, enrollment requirements, and other information here.

Besides the specific requirements requested by the corresponding program, applicants must submit:

• (Undergraduate and graduate) diplomas obtained and, if requested, a copy of the curricula studied issued by the corresponding entity

• CV

• Certificate of proficiency in a foreign language other than Spanish

• Certificate of undergraduate studies at a higher education institution
