"Oportunidades para hacer doble titulación doctoral entre la Universidad de Antioquia y la Universidad de Groningen" es un ciclo de webinars organizado por la University of Groningen y la Dirección de Relaciones Internacionales que tiene por objetigvo compartir información valiosa sobre cómo avanzar en tu carrera académica en una de las universidades más prestigiosas de Países Bajos. 

La University of Groningen, fundada en 1614, es una institución conocida por su excelencia en investigación y educación. Ubicada en los Países Bajos, ofrece una amplia gama de programas académicos y cuenta con una diversa comunidad estudiantil internacional. Sus programas de maestría y doctorado son reconocidos por su rigor académico y su enfoque innovador, brindando a los estudiantes las herramientas necesarias para sobresalir en sus respectivas áreas de conocimiento.

Durante este ciclo, Camila Carvajal representante de la Universidad de Groningen para América Latina con base con base en la UNAM (México) desde su función de facilitar procesos de movilidad e investigación entre instituciones latinoamericanas y la Universidad de Groningen, conversará con representantes de cuatro (4) áreas de conocimiento de dicha Universidad sobre:

• Información detallada sobre sus áreas de investigación
• La vida como estudiante doctoral y el entorno académico en los Países Bajos
• Así como los procesos de admisión, los programas disponibles, y las oportunidades de doble titulación.

Health and Life Sciences Ambassador: Prof. dr. Han Moshage

Professor of Experimental Gastroenterology and Hepatology at the Faculty of Medical Sciences.

Moshage served as secretary of the Dutch Society of Hepatology (1997-2003), member of the Scientific Council of the Dutch Digestive Diseases Foundation (1998-2005), director of the research master program Molecular Medicine and Innovative Treatment (2005-2013), director of the University of Groningen Research Institute GUIDE (2005-2012), director of the Graduate School of Medical Sciences (2009-2012) and is currently responsible for International Relations within the Graduate School of Medical Sciences. He served on many evaluation panels of funding agencies and is currently chair of the starting career grant program ZonMW-Veni for (bio)medical sciences of the Dutch government. He also serves on the editorial board and was/is guest editor of several peer-reviewed international journals. Moshage has been the primary supervisor of more than 25 PhD students.

Social Sciences Academic Ambassador: Prof. dr. Mónica López López

PhD in Psychology. She is an Associate Professor and Rosalind Franklin Fellow at the Faculty of Behavioural and Social Sciences of the University of Groningen, the Netherlands.

For the last 15 years, Mónica has been actively seeking a way of improving child protection systems through research on decision-making, with a special interest in assessments and decisions of out-of-home placement and reunification, decisions of matching children with foster families, and participation of children and families in decision-making.

Mónica has been involved in transferring scientific knowledge, teaching at the international master Youth Society and Policy, training professionals, and working in international research networks. She is a board member of EUSARF and she was the founder of the EUSARF Academy, a network for PhD students and early careers conducting research in the field of child and family welfare.

Academic Ambassador of Science and Technology: Prof. Dr. Cecília Salgado

Associate Professor, Mathematics, Faculty of Science and Engineering.

Cecilia Is an associate professor in the Algebra Group of the Bernoulli Institute at the University of Groningen. After concluding her Ph.D. in Paris VII, she was a postdoctoral researcher at Leiden and Bonn before taking a position at the Federal University of Rio de Janeiro, where she was an associate professor until 2023. Her research is currently around the arithmetic and geometry of algebraic surfaces, in particular those with fibration structures. She is also interested in manifestations of those in the context of algebraic geometry codes. She strives for a diverse community in academia and has been involved in several initiatives such as the European editions of Women in Numbers and also the organisation of events in Brazil and more recently in Groningen.

Humanities Academic Ambassador: Prof. dr. Lautaro Roig Lanzillotta

Professor of New Testament and Early Christian Studies. Faculty of Religion, Culture and Society.

Director of the Global Network consortium (Erasmus Mundus International Master “Religious Diversity in a Globalized World”). He holds a PhD in Classical Philology (1997, Univ. Complutense) and a PhD in Theology (2004, Univ. Groningen). He is editor-in-chief of three major projects: Gnosis: Journal of Gnostic Studies; the online bibliography of Nag Hammadi; and Brill's Plutarch Studies series.
