Strategic Focus

The Research Group on Integrated Process Engineering – GIPI, aims to meet the needs of the local industrial sector, which requires innovative alternatives to the traditional Chemical Engineering processes implemented in their plants. This leads to structural, energy, and techno-economic improvements that enable the development of sustainable and environmentally safe processes.

Development of physicochemical technologies for environmental remediation of the impact caused by the manufacture of chemical, agro-industrial products, and energy processes.
Modeling, integrated design, and optimization of manufacturing processes for chemical, agro-industrial products, and next-generation materials.
