The mission of the Parasitology Group is to contribute to the knowledge, prevention, diagnosis and control of parasitic diseases through scientific research of excellence, comprehensive training of human talent and social outreach. Our commitment is to generate innovative and contextualized solutions that improve public health, especially in vulnerable communities, articulating teaching, research and extension with an ethical, interdisciplinary and sustainable approach.
