Strategic Focus

The mission of the Biopharmaceutical Study and Research Group (GEIB) at the University of Antioquia is to generate scientific and technological knowledge that improves the efficacy, safety, and accessibility of medicines through applied research, academic training, and outreach services in the fields of biopharmacy, pharmacokinetics, bioavailability, and bioequivalence. Through partnerships with the pharmaceutical industry, institutions, and public entities, it aims to promote quality and innovation in the design and evaluation of medicines, thereby promoting the well-being of society.

Specialized consulting and training in biopharmaceutical and pharmacokinetic evaluation, bioavailability and bioequivalence studies of drugs in accordance with Resolution 1124 of 2016.
Considering the group's current reactivation process, experimental capabilities are being strengthened in order to offer services in the field of biopharmacy and pharmacokinetics in the future.
