The Social Intervention Research Group - GIIS- of the University of Antioquia aims to provide knowledge about social intervention as a scientific category with interdisciplinary character, which contributes to the epistemological, theoretical, methodological and contextual foundation of the social sciences and Social Work, through the development of its lines of research, with criteria of relevance, social transformation and democratization of knowledge. Likewise, we wish to have an impact on the construction of just, diverse and emancipatory societies, through networking, the generation of alliances and relevant social practices for the transformation of local, regional, national, Latin American and global realities.
