Network members collaboration Opportunities:
1. If you have any trainings/ workshops/ conferences that you would like to share with the GESI Network, please send them to the GESI Secretariat so that we disseminate them throughout the GESI Network.
2. If you are working on an evidence synthesis project and would like to invite someone from the GESI Network from another sector/discipline or with different skills to collaborate, please send the description to the GESI Secretariat so that we disseminate through the GESI Network.

Invitation to contribute to the Cochrane Handbook as a peer referee:

The Senior Scientific Editors of the Cochrane Handbook for Systematic Reviews of Interventions (version 6) are asking for the help and participation of the GESI Network in the peer review of chapters for the Handbook. The Cochrane Handbook is the official guide that describes in detail the process of preparing and maintaining Cochrane systematic reviews on the effects of healthcare interventions.  They are revising the Cochrane Handbook to include new chapters and updated standards.  Wiley is publishing the Handbook as a paper copy, due in Sept 2018.

As part of Cochrane's commitment to equity and diversity, Cochrane participated as a founding member of the Global Evidence Synthesis Initiative.
In recognition of the strength and depth of evidence synthesis expertise in the GESI network, they are writing to invite you to contribute to the Cochrane Handbook as a peer referee for a chapter in your area(s) of expertise.

If you are able to participate as a peer referee, please email Jackie Chandler (JChandler@cochrane.org) indicating your area of expertise and which chapter (or chapters) are of interest to you (see list of chapters below).
