In this section, you will find information about how to apply for international rotation before the School Council. The application process must be carried out at least three months and up to six months in advance. The respective application forms must be filled in. You can download them by clicking on the links below.
Once the documentation has been uploaded, the application goes under review, which can take approximately one month to get all approvals.
Note: Individual interviews are conducted in order to guide the process and define a viable exchange plan. This application is only to request and schedule the presentation before the School Council. Please, make an appointment with the Office of International Relations for advice and support on the application process to international universities or hospitals.
Students who are interested in participating in an academic exchange must meet the criteria established by the School. In this section you will find all the requirements to apply for international mobility before the School Council. This process must be carried out at least four and up to six months in advance.
To start the process students must access the outgoing mobility application form by clicking here. Subsequently, they must fill in the form and attach the requested documents.
Note: Please name the PDF document this way and without spaces: yearmonthdday_councilapplication_full name (e.g. 20180502_ councilapplication _JulianaGonzalez)
You must attach only one PDF with all the necessary documents. The maximum file size is 10mb.
After uploading the documentation and filling in the form, the Coordination checks that the application is completed. Then, the head of the program must authorize the application. Finally, the School Council must authorize it. Results will be sent by letter or e-mail to notify whether the mobility application has been accepted or not.
It should be noted that:
- Individual interviews are conducted in order to guide the process and define a viable exchange plan.
- Personalized technical support by the Coordination provides advice on agreements, requirements, training places, etc.
- Advice on visa procedures will be provided at Directorate of International Relations of Universidad de Antioquia at the Outreach building, office 705.
- Foreign universities handle different application dates for international students and they may request other relevant documents. For this reason, every person must make sure that registrations at foreign institution are opened during the call. You can check the list of the most used calls by the School and download the application instructions by clicking here.
Outgoing mobility report
Constantly updating mobility indicators is a fundamental task for the School of Medicine and Universidad de Antioquia in order to carry out their processes of self-assessment and high quality accreditation, both nationally and internationally. Besides, those indicators are very important items of the management performed.
Here you will find the necessary forms to report academic community developing activities in the role of student, faculty members, researcher, manager, or administrative at national or international level.
Outgoing mobility assessment
In this section, you will find the assessment form of outgoing mobility. The form was designed by using the Google Forms strategy.
The purpose of this assessment is to be able to collect experiences from both international and national mobility. This collection will be used as an input to develop improvement plans of international rotations, as well as strategic visions, and some useful information for any member of the School who wants to apply for outgoing mobility.
