The increasing participation of women in the Colombian Armed Forces reflects global structural changes in which they occupy significant numbers in the ranks and command, in contrast to their low integration into military dynamics that became global in the mid-1980s. However, the participation of women in political public sphere in the Colombian; Ukrania and United Kindong case, continue been a fraction not so representative of what has been the more general history of their participation of the nation's conflict in the last six decades. Thus why the space of women in the state and not state armies’ groups implies a permanent struggle for rights and equality, as well as thinking of a female military role ready for the duties of the institution and groups in pursuit of a constant exercise of dignity and human rights. The Colombian team is looking for Women in the military but mainly the ex-combatant of not state groups e.g. las Farc- EP, exercise for defence of rights has been translated into an action inside peace agreements and to comply with the military mission and to assume the defence of the rights to equality and peace. In this way, the military woman and ex-combatant needs to become a key agent for the construction of peace and the fulfilment of the constitutional purposes of the Colombian society in the post-agreement period. However, the stereotypes of women are still present in relation to the political possibilities they may have as part of the political parties, and the real capacity that women may have for decision making, for example in the way in which mass media make the (not) visible participation of women in conflict. Even the media does not show women combatants or ex-combatants, other than to show how they return to their homes and resume their roles as mothers and wives.
